Dedication to Rav Shloime Twerski, zt"l

from the dedication of Reb Yaakov and Varda Branfman's new book
The Hidden World:
Challenge, Adventure, and Pleasure in Giving
published by the Kest-Lebowitz Jewish Heritage and Roots Library,
Jerusalem, 1999
reprinted here with permission of the author and publisher

In Loving Memory of
Rabbi Ben Tzion Chaim Shlomo Meshulom Zusha Twerski, ztzal,
Admor of Hornosteipel and Rav of Denver, CO.

He taught:
Listen and hear other people…
Give that which is your special contribution…
Be patient because the truth will surely emerge…
Trust, don’t fear…
and especially, care.”

He exemplified everything he taught:
No call for help ever came too late at night.
No question had an automatic answer.
No one was treated without kindness.
No person was too lost.
And no one felt left out.
