Tuition
Fees for the complete
academic year 2009-2010 are $9,600. This includes a
non-refundable fee of $250 for registration and $350
for student activities. This $600 is due upon acceptance.
Cost
for living in one of the Midreshet
Rachel v'Chaya apartments is $325 a month (including
all utilities except telephone; linens and kitchen utensils
are also provided.)
To reserve
a place in one of our apartments, a $325 deposit is
required.
We also have programs
for Elul, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. For fees,
please contact our Israeli office.
Tuition is due in two payments - payment of half the
fee is due three days after arrival and the balance
of payment is due within three months after arrival.
Payment can be made either to the Midreshet Rachel v'Chaya
office directly or through our US office. Payment may
be made in US dollars, or in other major currencies
at the current exchange rates. Preferred methods of
payment of tuition are cash, check or bank transfer.
Payments by Visa or Mastercard are welcome, but are
subject to a 2.5% surcharge due to additional bankcharges
incurred by Midreshet Rachel v'Chaya. Inquiries concerning
fees for a part-time program are welcomed.

S. Daniel Abraham Scholarship Program
Midreshet Rachel v'Chaya is an approved institution for the S. Daniel Abraham Scholarship Program. You can find more information and apply online on the Abraham Scholars Website.
The Zoltan and Ibolya Bernat, z"l Memorial Scholarship
Fund.
This scholarship provides a limited number of monthly
stipends to married couples studying at Darche Noam
(husband at Shapell’s and wife at Midreshet Rachel).
The stipends are up to a maximum of $400 per month for
living expenses and are awarded based on academic/leadership
potential and financial need. For applications contact

MORE Scholarships and Financial Assistance
MASA - Students requiring financial assistance
and meeting the criteria of the Jewish Agency's MASA
long-term study scholarship program are encouraged to
apply through Darche Noam. You must be under 31 years
of age and registering for a program of at least 5 months.
Masa will grant a scholarship, depending on your financial
situation and country of origin, for up to a maximum
of $10,000. The application must be submitted to MASA
by the school and not directly by the applicant. You
can find all sorts of information and an application
at the MASA website http://www.masaisrael.org/Masa/English/.
Unfortunately MASA does not yet have an online application
so you will need to print and complete the application
and then fax it to us at our US fax # 516-908-6020 or
our Israel fax # 972-2-652-0801. We will review your
application and let you know what, if anything, needs
to be addressed.
Note that assistance may also be available from a student's
synagogue, JCC or Hillel. Scholarships are often available
from local Federations. To find your local federation
