With the help of G-d, when the shidduch works out:
When a shidduch progresses successfully to marriage, the Halakha, following the custom of each community, views a monetary payment from the couple to the shadchan as a serious legal and spiritual obligation. In our case, the Roshei Yeshiva determined $1000 from the couple (to be split between Darche Noam and the shadchanit) as the minimum appropriate amount. In situations of financial need, please consult the Roshei Yeshiva.
