Upsherin/Chalaka
Many are accustomed to leave a boy's hair uncut until age 3, and then celebrate the hair-cutting, the Upsherin, (that often takes place on Lag B'Omer) as the child's first day of Chinuch, of Jewish education. Mazal tov to the Lerner, Plotkin, and Kodish families!

Hagaon Harav Mordechai Tzukerman, shlita cuts off a bit of Yitzchak Lerner (son of DN/S alumnus Dovid Lerner)'s hair. Rav Tzukerman is a talmid of the Chofetz Chaim zt"l.
