This
year Darche Noam/Shapell's travelled south for the
weekend of Parshat Chayei Sarah. Friday we stopped
at the Israel Air Force Museum:

We spent an inspirational Shabbat at
the Midreshet Hanegev in the educational village of
Tifrach
(including a panel discussion with Rabbi Farber, Rabbi
Feldman, and Rabbi Zeff on "Israel: Why We Came
and Why We Stayed":

Motzaei Shabbat activities included
sports at a nearby gymnasium:

The night ended with a kumsitz around
the campfire:

Sunday was spent hiking in the Negev
Desert:
Students dancing and singing with a group of Israeli
high school students they met on the top of a mountain.
