The Yarchei Kallah Faculty
The faculty of the Darche Noam Institutions is a gifted group of Jewish scholars and educators
trained in the world's top yeshivot, women's seminaries and universities. They span the spectrum of halachic and ideological streams in the Torah-observant community.

Guest lecturers include renowned speakers and authors Rabbis Simcha Hakohen Kook, shlita, Aaron Adler, Natan Lopez-Cardozo, Avishai David, Leib Kelemen, Zev Leff, Berel Wein, Mrs. Rosie Einhorn & Mrs. Sherry Zimmerman.

The Darche Noam Institutions
For over 20 years, the David Shapell College of Jewish Studies and Midreshet Rachel v'ChayaCollege of Jewish Studies for Women have been dedicated to providing a sophisticated and balanced approach to Torah Judaism for university graduates and professionals. Darche Noam's unique approach focuses on the development of textual skills combined with personal growth. Students are encouraged to explore different approaches in Torah Judaism, as taught by the institutions' diverse staff. The warm, open, and vibrant environment promotes a deep understanding of Judaism. Emphasizing a love of Israel, Darche Noam instills in its graduates an appreciation of their uniqueness as individuals and responsibility as Jews.

The Setting
The Darche Noam campus is nestled among the trees in Jerusalem's stately Beit Hakerem neighborhood. The David and Fela Shapell building houses an air-conditioned Beit Midrash, dining facilities, and seminar classrooms.
Limited housing is available on campus, each room with private bath.
Directions to Darche Noam via bus, car, or taxi.

Cost
The program, including three days of study, lunch daily, and the closing evening program and reception is $100 or $90 for alumni of Shapell's and Midreshet Rachel v'Chaya. Prepaid registrants by Sun. June 30 are entitled to a $10 discount off these prices. Childcare is available at $15 per child per day, including lunch. One-day participation, the closing program, and housing are available, as detailed on the registration form.

For Further Study
Men and Women interested in further study are invited to join the Summer Programs at the David Shapell College of Jewish Studies/Yeshivat Darche Noam June 10 - July 16, 2002 and at Midreshet Rachel v'ChayaCollege of Jewish Studies for Women,
July 1-18, 2002. The Elul Program for Shapell's begins Monday, August 12, 2002, and at Midreshet Rachel v'Chayaon Sunday, August 18, 2002.
