The
Program
Our
Sages teach us that at the moment a child
learns to speak we teach him the biblical
verse, "Moshe has commanded us the
Torah, an eternal heritage for the congregation
of Jacob" (Deut. 33:4). Educating ourselves,
our children, and our community is the paramount
imperative of Jewish life.
Join us for our ninth annual Yarchei Kallah
in which we will devote three days to a
thought-provoking and inspiring multi-faceted
exploration of this most central tenet of
Judaism. We will learn why the art of learning
Torah is the height of religious experience;
we will confront the difficult challenges,
both practical and conceptual, involved
in Jewish education; and we will emerge
newly energized to insure, through Torah
education, a vibrant Jewish future.

are once again grateful to the Himmelman
